Dublin’s Bill Cseplo has been a little league coach and enthusiast for three decades and he’s trying to jump-start young baseball players with the Snap Training Bat he brought to ABC-6 Friday.
The distinguishing feature is an audible noise when the bat is swung which should help to sync the swing with the pitch.
The bat is not to be used in games and is designed to hit softer objects like tennis balls. Columbus Clippers President / GM Ken Schnacke is supporting the new project and will join Cseplo in Dallas for the American Baseball Coaches Association Convention to give the product some public notice.
